On a get rich quick scheme

Ever been tempted by excessive consumerism?

Wanted to have a bottomless purse filled with cash?
So you can buy your way to anything and be trouble free, away from the poor working population.
And with a click of your fingers, stuff just appears out of nowhere like that millionaire ad...

This ad is awespiring, it fulfills everything you need to live comfortably, and probably in seductive misery.

Anyway I have decided on a get rich quick scheme.. by trying my luck =D .
But will probably become a gambling addict if this goes on for more than half a year... No worries, default back to poor student mode later.

Not like this will be a crazy blind casino splurge. There is so much research on luck too. If I don't take risks now, there will be no learning curve at all! Smart people don't get rich because they are too afraid to get risks.. not saying anything about Bill Gates...

All research keeps on repeating their findings of the irrationality of the human brain. It is so annoying to keep on thinking how silly and insignificant our species are...

Like this study on risky decision making. The researchers are so smart in phrasing simple questions in their experiments and pinpointing our irrational though processes. They said we usually think of how much we lose rather than gain. Even to the point where loses are moderate but gaining is high but we still dwell on the losses and never take any risks.

Think of all those times we must have lost potential. Like the time I didn't buy that expensive limited edition pallet but it turned out extremely collectible and selling for 200x the amount on ebay.... They concluded that we SHOULD look at a problem based on the weight of gains rather than losses. It could be dangerous if you are in the medical field lol. But much better in decision making for people who just want to gamble money =D .

Getting struck by lightning is higher in chance than winning lotto so I'll stick to like, $1 scratchies. Wait NO, must not fall into this thought process again >=[

Then there was that study on people who consider themselves lucky. They usually engage in more risk taking behavior and probably exposed to more gains and opportunities. That cycle into more positive experiences =D .

You have to be smart but not TOO smart as well lol. Because the people with super high IQs don't engage in risky behavior for some reason. They are probably so smart they can calculate the exact values of their gains and losses but being typical humans only focus on the losses. So most of them never do anything because the losses always seem to overshadow the gains. By like 300% according to the above study.

A physicist/mathematician also once said if there is a chance of a certain event happening, even near infinite 0.01%, it will always happen at least once.. in the universe *o*

I'm inspired by Donnie Darko right now!

Off to buy a lotto ticket every week for the next 12 weeks

Especially the one about personality and situation. People always act based on their environment and we judge them on the spot. That's unfair because it can stagnant future interesting conversations. Must say, I've tried hard to not do that =D

Why bother reading psychology articles anyway?

Haha, I wanted to be psychologically inept! So the customers at work don't bully me =( ..

Sometimes I shortchange people lol and they get really angry. Damn cheap asian customers. But being super tired at 8am in the morning, I get angry too and can't make them believe it was an ACCIDENT. It makes my day sour because I hate it when people get angry at me. Like the newest recruit. She told me off when I said don't bother cleaning those trays and clean something else. She was scary because she was like undermining my authority by saying another worker told me to do this. But she is a nice person when she's not under stress. Just the type who demands authority but does things her own way even though it's annoying for other people...

At least it wasn't like my friend who started working at 14. She is super experienced!! Been through so much with her 3 bosses at a Japanese crepe store! Told me her first boss was alright but a total scammer. She sold it to the 2nd boss for heaps of money but some paperwork was missing and the store somehow ended up STILL legally in possession of the 1st owner.

BUT that evil 1st owner supposedly lied and insisted "I never sold my store to that lady!" And the 2nd lady already paid the entire amount, so they went to court. But for some reason the 2nd boss lost and the 1st boss got everything. What a horror story! Gahh never gamble with stupid paperwork!

So I can go off and live like a hermit and eat coconuts everyday. Make friends with trees because I hate all animals apart from Lilly. And live in a bungaloo with no care for excessive facial hair =( .

Anyway can't think of anything else right now.
Ate too much and slept straight after which makes me have bad dreams >=o
