Yes! Time for a showcase on the sasquatch ds!

Anyway, I bought a game even before I bought the ds XL!
Golden Sun ! :D

My one is bronze, a colour that is usually sold out as it is so popular ~
Midnight blue is always available for some reason.

So... this is why it's called bronze. Even though it's 75% black.

Someone said DS games are REGION FREE! I could have just bought Golden Sun at amazon for only $32. But shipping is around $15. Still cheaper than JB HIFI. Some of those stores have the shittiest service too! It took me like 30 minutes to ask someone if they still have the DS XL in stock. Stores who advertise too good to be true deals (like JB HIFI) and drag lazy people like me to their stores only to be told, "it's run out..." are such bitches! Not once too btw.

There was a lady who wanted to buy an Xbox and told an attendant to get one for her after waiting a long time & only got the reply "Yeah ok..". THEN he disappeared somewhere and never came back...

Anyway enough ranting... I ended up buying from them anyway. But not the shitty southwest jbhifi store. >=)

Anyway, this is a comparison of the ds consoles released so far:

Ok I take back ugly for the DS XL.
It is much lighter than expected for a console that size too.

It does not cause delayed reaction in movement because of the larger screen!!
There is actually better movement!!

After playing with this ds you will NEVER go back to DS lite or DSi. The screen is so much more generous that when you switch back to the smaller screens, you will start to squint...

Look how tiny its predecessor is!

Haha a friend's father said "Buy the ds XL because I don't want you to go blind! Then you'll have to wear glasses."

***SPOILERS!!***

It's basically the same stats as the first game's characters. You don't ever get to control the past characters though =(

You don't even get to see what Felix or Peirs looks like older! Not that they grow older anyway from the power of the Golden Sun! But there is just a small insignificant description of where everyone turned out to become. They all either travel across the lands and seas or stay in their hometown researching alchemy and the effects of the Golden Sun. Such a boring end for the retired characters.

Graphics look GREAT though with such stylish interface and good use of touch screen :)

The places you can go to are immense and quite a few side quests for armor too. Customisation of stats is based on the djinn system with lots of roles to uncover!

My friend said she finished the entire game in a week!! Either we increased in IQ by 500% or the game has gotten disappointingly easy. But still so addictive!

1. Harvest moon CUTE!

The updated girl's version. Farming simulation lol and you can marry someone ;)
But in between there are lots of cool ways to make money and unlock secret events *o*
Sunshine islands is annoying though! I really like Island of Happiness actually!

3. The world ends with you

You wake up in the middle of Shibuya and no one notices or helps you. Frogs start attacking and you have no choice but to follow orders from a mysterious text on your mobile. SUPER awesome game! Heaps of side quests!! GREAT soundtrack too!!


4. Ace attorney!!
Lol who doesn't like the quirky humour in the plot and bright characters in this game! It can be very sad sometimes but funny the next.. but you still have to be smart to enjoy it :D

5. Final fantasy tactics - Grimoire of the Rift

Like a fairytale but you are a scrawny little boy with no muscles so you use magic to defeat everyone who tries to underestimate you. YAYAY..
Great customisations though!


6. RUNE FACTORY 3 ♡♡
(Don't bother with 1 or 2, they are so boring it's like a slow death)
"The characters are so unique!!"

I just came back from a holiday at Mollymook beach and that was funnn! Relaxing times and good cooking by friends too =D

LOL I threw up after drinking one glass of alcohol. =o= But I was also being a gaming addict during that time (lol playing golden sun) and was lying on my stomach a lot....

Port Stephens has more beautiful water but Mollymook has softer sand =)

OK have to start that entry about going into a Japanese bath house!
