Who goes there in Summer anyway =o= . Everyone who is
cool enough goes to the Gold Coast.... Melbourne is just like Sydney but people are NICER for some reason... =/ Taxi drivers don't try to rip you off and people actually stop to give you directions! They also having higher chances of rain and way more classy Victorian architecture.

That's quite a murky lake they have...
WELL, there's classier people too, like 90% are dressed in suits on any weekday around CBD! The shopping wasn't as awesome as we thought and Asian restaurants only congregate in Chinatown. Whereas only sushi bars filled up the CBD and they usually aren't really value for money...
BUT not to be negative, in the 4 days we stayed in Melbourne, I accomplished visiting A LOT more tourist destinations than in Sydney...
Because travel posts are always extremely boring because it's like looking through
someone's family album, I will only present the
exciting and the
worst of Melbourne ~ =D
.
.
.
Day 1 - too boring to show everyone. We just walked around the CBD and everyone was complaining how boring it was. My friends also crossed out all the museums on the itinerary I wrote. We had nothing left to do except check out GPO and Rialto tower. *Expensive...*

"Rialto tower, such a fine work of art!"
Day 2 -Skydeck 88
I haven't even been to Centre Point Tower so this is an exciting NEW experience for me! In the morning it was boring though. I'm not acrophobic or altophobic or whatever so it wasn't very adrenaline inducing ...

"Ooo.. makes people below look so insignificant!"
I recommend you use the binoculars to spy through office building windows and see if the employees are doing anything suspicious... that was the high point of our visit.. LOL nothing perverted =o= .
The
cube (entirely glass room including floor) was $10 extra and the front wall wasn't even see through. We can't even take in our cameras into the glass room, making it a very forgettable experience. Unless you want a professional photo with that crappy gray wall at the back. It usually was suppose to look like this:

When we visited, the back wall was grey >=(

Only a hundreth as awesome as this.
But DW! If you go night time, it's much more beautiful. The gated outside area was so windy, it felt like you were on a mountain top too!

NEXT!!
To the Aquarium ~ !!
This was actually fun! =D

The aquarium near the
murky river.
I'm sure everyone's been to aquariums before unless you live under a rock like
Patrick.. OR your parents were really
stingy... But it's gonna be fun again if you've forgot heaps things back from childhood ~ :D

This penguin.. what a poser!
Anyway skipping a few, the cutest fish was:

This extremely hyperactive puffer fish.
It followed our fingers and kept on swimming towards us.
Reminded me of adorable, stupid Lilly.. ♡
Ugliest was...

This eel.. eww so slimy and wrinkly looking.
We came out only about 2.5 hours later and went to eat at a monkey bar. Thought it was a Japanese restaurant from the description but all they cooked were Chinese food lol.
Well the aquarium was worth visiting because they had lots on show, from angel to zebra fishes! They tried to make the displays interesting like adding haunting surround sound in the seals room. We learnt oysters were OK to fish because you can't actually fish them anyway and have to dive to capture them. While flatheads are NOT OK to fish... but they are delicious on bbq! =(
.
.
ANYWAY NEXT......
Crown complex =D !!

Lol another
stolen professional image of this building!
I told you my camera is a piece of crap anyway..
Inside:

They had way more interesting, architecturally designed Christmas trees =D
What a
crazy place! There were a lot of people gambling that night and made me feel so POOR! I only spent like $10 on the pokies BUT with combined team effort we won like $30.
But everyone wanted to keep on pressing so we ended up with $19 instead.. Then this guy appeared out of no where and asked us to sign up to the
Crown members card. We get $5 FREE, like
cold hard cash.. SO, of course we signed up. THEN we each used the $5 on pokies and lost it ALL LOL.
The pokies extended throughout the floor so you could walk for 5 minutes plus through a neverending streams of pokies. A lady shoved me out of the way to get to her favourite pokie machine. Haha, I heard in Star City they have auspiciously lucky
car parking spaces too! But someone did a psychology report on scientific traits of people who consider themselves lucky. The only reasonable way of describing a lucky individual was someone who took
RISKS.. !! =D
Watching the high rollers table was
so exciting! Except for this guy who was on the blackjack $100 table... He played 5 games within like 2 minutes and
lost $500! OMG my entire fortnights pay >o< ! When we were about to leave, the same guy who told us to sign up for their card appeared out of no where and asked how we were doing. HAHA, he must have been trying to sow the seeds of a
gambling addict and gave us a $5 voucher for the table games. Anywho, one of us went and played on the $15 poker tables (lol lowest paying table) with the voucher and in like 3 minutes he lost all his money and quit.
So we got drinks to drown out losses instead.. =D Whisky is so disgusting! I bought mocktails instead and recommend the watermelon surprise =D . I think the surprise was a hint of chocolate. Mmmm...
We went back to SKYDECK 88 before this for
night viewing!
It's a way better time to look down at the city from the 88th floor!!
Sadly my camera is the shittiest camera ever, (samsung is worthless!) so no photos to capture the beauty...... =(
Except this!!
.
.
Anyway that's the end of day 2.
Back at the hotel, we
trained ourselves in blackjack and poker and bet on our arms and legs. I won EVERYTHING!! >=D But then lost it all the next night to Bili =( .. I'm sure we won't win against those dealers.. They have something about them that makes them SUPER lucky. One dealer got
blackjack 3 TIMES in a row!!
.
.
.
Coming up!! A visit to the Japanese bath house~!!
And the zoo lol. Some of us were neglected children...
.
.
.
Life story so far! Lots to catch up on >=D ~
WELL after coming back I went to work the next day... Then we had the annual work party and went to eat at a seafood restaurant. OMG ate a humongous oyster!! Lobster too. I won $20 from the raffle!! The highest was $200 in which someone commented "I won't go to work tomorrow if I won it". Haha the bosses were funny stereotypical people too because they all had
beautiful wife's except one boss who didn't bring his wife but his kid is so cuuute!
Anyway, it was awkward though because almost everyone was a FOB and didn't speak english =( . HAHA I haven't told everyone about this guy I mistook for who
LOOKED LIKE YUKI in Perfect girl evolution !!

It took me a while to determine this guy at work is a
GIRL LOLOL!!!!
I'm sure this lady will never find out I wrote about her because.. she's a fob =D .
.
.
.
Have to go sleep early! Working Christmas eve whole day!! Wahh 14 hours =( . Hope my bosses never find this page. Because I'm considering quitting. BUT after I find another job. Everyone is nice and stuff but OMG so tiring!! Last week it took me 2 VITAMIN PILLS to restore myself to my former glory! it must be killing my liver too.
Also feels like I'm not progressing with my future career by working in a food chain. They hire mainly FOBs whose english extends to sufficiently say "$5 total please". But at least I learnt in life how to endure
14 hour shifts. AND learnt from ex-supervisor who was super resourceful like findng empty vegetable oil drums and put a plastic bag over it to sit on. =D Feels like sitting on the sultan's throne after standing for 10 hours straight.
HOWEVER, this job is seriously stunting my above average intelligence and future prospects. Modest much! Anywho, research shows you do better in life if your aim is
betterment of the world. While people who only think of money after they graduate do significantly worse during their course. SO, I don't want some job that has no significance in betterment of the world... Aged care felt that way too =/ ... Got to keep on looking~~ Meanwhile, have to find some way to liven up my current job =(
Play psychological mind games with the customers.. =D
People are more likely to believe you if they're distracted.
Gotta wear something sparkly to work...
.
.
. . . Auf Wiedersehen!
