Cloth bags stencil

Emi Suzuki is...here and here and... everywhere! After the dissolution of Pinky she lands on the cover of Bea Up, then Summer Cecil Mcbee, more stints here and there & now my beloved craft magazines!

While looking for magazines to download, I came across goldmine of cute stencils the other day ^O^ (I only like to buy magazines with free stuff in it xD ) AND Emi was on TWO of them!

Emi Suzuki for Sewing!? Unheard of...

But didn't bother with those yet because the one I really wanted to make are BAGS =D

Lovely fashionable, versatile, cute bags!! Burberry checkered bag patterns are so simple, elegant and... EXPENSIVE! At least $400 for the pretty ones =( So this is SPAM of stencils for bags you may want to create. Then wack on your own desired material to emanate your favourite brand while also expressing you own heartfelt creativity ;)

Have super heavy textbooks? You may want a heavy duty bag.

The shoulder strap wraps all the way to the bottom of the bag.

My dream bag will have a gazillion pockets to suit my pedantic storing of medical supplies. =D But for a beginner, making a beach or book bag will be easier before moving on to super multi-layered pockets or other eccentric designs.

This is my first ever DIY bag. No formal decorations yet.
It does not look as cool as Burberry ones but cost 50000X less =D

And it can fit a humongous 2 textbooks!

But the handle will probably break with that weight =(

I will fill it up with some embroidery soon enough.

Simple elegance =)

Trace this onto your fabric with an erasable marker then sew across!

So the other week, I started working at St. Vincent the clothes store. For the first few days I was grossed at all the old peoples clothes. Second hand clothes stores should ALL be replaced with the word VINTAGE. So when someone asks where you bought that charming petticoat or delightful miniskirt, you don't have to say "The used clothes store". Because it immediately conjures the thought of HOBOs and a old ladies who smell like mothballs...

But the clothes just smelled musty and rarely any had stains or holes in them. Just less bright. After getting used to the musty smell and my own prejudice for used clothing, I got the courage to BUY something. My coworker was picking out almost everything because she just came from Fiji and they had a buffet sale. $10 for all the clothes you can fit inside a bag lol! =D So glad with my items actually =) The best part of this was getting 5 pieces of clothing for... $20. OMG I could have bought just one tube of BB cream with that =o=

The wool top and miniskirt were only $10 =o
I don't care if this feels povo. Recycling is cool and Ima vote for the Greens =D

. . .

Au revoir! ☆--
