Where to now?

As stated before I went to the Da Vinci art museum. It only featured replicas of his machines built into models and some paintings re-painted by a Mr DeVito. They were still really beautiful AND you can look at them REALLY close up =) .

Well I never knew Leonardo was so smart. Apart from painting he also dissected 30 people too. Even a pregnant lady =( . They replicated his dissecting room too! They had a wax model lady complete with a blood bathtub of were her abdomen was placed after being cut off =/ . My little sister went in acting all macho while I was like, move out of the way little children, where's the damn exit?

I commented on why he had such neat but incomprehensible writing & know-it-all Andy said it's to protect against forgery by writing everything backwards.

After 3 hours trying to find that supposedly elephant in “adoration of the Magi” we got hungry. We gave up and went to eat at that Korean restaurant. It’s down George Street in a dark, shady alleyway and they had $8 meals =D . The lengths we go to for being poor students..

Anyway we caught a FREE ferry to Cockatoo Island.

This is actually the return trip.

It should be called Seagull Island instead having been invaded by those evil fish & chip stealing birds. This is where they filmed Wolverine. =D It was a pretty scary place. Perfect for ghost hunting...

There was a REALLY nice room all the way at the back. It's by AES+F. I didn't take any photos because it was too embarrassing =/ . But stole some off someone's website =D

The audience stands in the middle of the room with screens which circling the entire 360˚. Then video clips of beautiful models show up on the screens and they rotate around you in tune to dramatic sensual music. =O

Some played golf while others pick up the golf ball on a perfect lawn. DID I MENTION THE MEN HAD THEIR SHIRTS OFF. ~o~ ...& the ladies only wear bra and undies. =P . (most of the time)

Feast of Trimalchio is about materialism and the gap between rich & poor.
They used hot people to demonstrate their point... & retain our attention.

There was a male model who was Asian, but a very nice mix of Asian. =D I think he looked North Asian and red dot Indian mixed together. Like a squinty eyed male version of her ~

But I have to say, I find American Indians are very attractive too. Not a certain Taylor Lautner but the tall, lean, hair in a pony tail type =D =D

If you want to check it out, the FREE ferry is available till August 1st 2010. Just go to Contemporary arts museum for the guide. The beautiful models + FREE ferry ride is so worth going to art museums. =D

Sigh you can't escape Lena Fuji's face on any magazine anymore. She is like the Japanese equivalence to Maggie Q in HK. Haha Maggie Q supposedly got rejected in Japan & rejected by Takeshi Kaneshiro. =o

So true! It's easy to tell even though she wears a shirt with holes in it.

Dearest Emi Suzuki has not retired yet! She is filming some reality tv show. While I was waiting around for news of her, I spotted an Emi Suzuki in JJ??

This attire reminded me of Blood+ prisoners outfits, which was something I wanted to replicate.

Darn... it looked cool when I first saw it. Maybe give this a miss =(

YAY MY SEWING MACHINE IS FINALLY FIXED! Some DIY action will happen soon enough ;)
