"I may look like a peanut but I'm really wealthy! Just look at my monocle!"
OHH I'm going to a Davinci Museum tomorrow. Yay! A pretend trip to the sophisticated arty Melbourne! =)
. . .
Laugh while you can! But it’s only a matter of time these ads will be taken seriously.. >=[

And the polls...
Why is that lady thinking of poo? So inconsistent with what fat people actually feel =(
Aww! 0% of guys are rooting for the chubby lady.
It says super waist thin ladies are voted higher in preference than an average girl with a one pack. But Western countries prefer a size 8/10 so the girls don't snap like twigs. But fit people get the highest preference no matter the culture.
Oh GOSH and a section on perfect ass size too! These findings sure are conflicting! Super thin ladies have a higher preference in the first photo. BUT HERE, they prefer a larger ass (85cm) over the tiny one (75cm). What a silly cartoon too! Get a normal ass size means you can sit on someone's lap better =_=
And the perfect chest LOL. Battle of the sexes (trivia game) said the average size is 36C. That's like a size 14 AUS! If it were possible being a size 6 (Aus) and Bra size C, you'd be making more money than Aki Hoshino!
Darn I was meant to inspire people to get fit and only ended up scrutinizing silly superficial advertisements...
Anyway I love Anna Tsuchiya’s personality. It is so rough and NOT FAKE like the way some glamour models may portray themselves. She sure had a hard time losing weight like how wiki said (sorry Ima wiki junkie =) “she awoke starving one morning to find that her legs did not work, a result of severe malnutrition; she was forced to drag herself by hand to the refrigerator”.
Having such models aren’t that healthy. =/ Well Adriana Lima is now added to my list. Her BMI is 17.9!! Yay not like Kumicky’s whose is around 15.
. . .
Which got me searching for people who do weight loss for the wrong reasons to encourage myself to GET FIT =D ...and I came across Beauty Colosseum.
"Lololol they compared her fatness to a dried squid"
It's like the warped, cute over-accessorized version of Extreme Makeover from Hollywood. Nothing new. But their concept of beauty is so different and the reasons vary more. Like how a fat girl lost her boyfriend and wanted to lose weight to get him back. WTH! Get one who treats you better! Also there was another girl who was really jealous of her sister who was prettier. Even to the point where their parents told her so and preferred the sister over the lady. Then she had the make-over and plastic surgery paid by Beauty Colosseum. The drama is brazenly exaggerated with funny reenactments of the bullying the victims were subjected too. Anyway 6 months or so later, she confronted her parents about this. Does everyone expect a perfect ending after they turn beautiful?
No. Her parents treated her as coldly as before. =.= BUT the good side of this was she explained her confidence grew so much more! That's what plastic surgery should be about, not a fairy-tale revenge on old classmates who teased you. But that would be really fun to watch =.o
One really popular lady was the girl with protruding teeth. Dental surgery is expensive so she begged the show for a makeover. When you see the before, her facial features (apart from her teeth) were actually pretty! However they changed quite a lot of things... TO THE POINT WHERE...
She can cut cheese with a nose like that!
..
.
But the Japan times had a really good article on the show's concept.
"Because while the show tends to define "beauty" in specific culturally fixed visual terms, the operative word on the show is not utsukushii, but rather kirei, as in the phrase kirei ni naru, which means "to become pretty." (Rather than we are born beautiful)"
& the ugly genes will never die out... But at least we have variety and people who focus more on personality =) =) . Maybe we can have more interesting people. Like Tsubasa with her style and lovely monotone, hypnotizing voice.... o.o No wonder she has so many fans. She probably hypnotized them..

Au revoir! ♥

ReplyDeleteOh and I love Anna Tsuchiya! She is so cute and different, she definitely (in my mind) stands out from other Japanese models...
