Cross stitching!

Materials:
If you are a beginner (like me!), go to your large craft store and ask for:
1.Cross-stitch Charts
(mine is at bottom)
2.Cross-stitch Fabric
(an evenweave which has larger squares for beginners)
3.Embroidery Floss
(Kit's are better because you don't have to find all the different coloured threads)
4.Tapestry Needles
(These are more blunt, thicker needles. The larger the number, the smaller the size)
5. Embroidery hoop
(You might need one for floppy/thin fabric)
Those are the bare minimums but if you are lazy just get the kit =D
Eg. Stitch kits @ Vicstitch
.• • •
Method: Just keep weaving under and over, making crosses according to your pattern. That sounds stupid... Do whatever!
.
.
The cross stitch chart that came with my kit:

This is my half complete cross stitch pattern on a cushion.

There are many items to place your design on that will ensuring maximum efforts seen =D Eg. Shoulder bags, curtains, bedsheets, mini purses, key chains, etc.
You can also make your own patterns! It's way more complicated and even I don't know how to interpret it. But with effort you can do your own design on:
www.myphotostitch.com
If you are luvo enough, even yourself lol!
Have fun! ✌
